Diarado

Diarado is a show jumping stallion born in 2005 in Denmark and bred by Kristensen Klaus Thingholm in Ulstrup. The stallion was elected Siegerstallion at the Holstein inspection in 2007 and subsequently won the 70-day performance test with a record result of 150.57 points. He received bronze medal at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and competed successfully at national 1.40-1.50 meter level. Diarado has established himself as a world-leading breeding stallion in both show jumping and eventing, ranked first in the WBFSH for eventing 2022-2025 and thirteenth for show jumping in 2025. He has produced over ninety approved stallions and thirty-six show jumpers at 1.60 meter level and ninety at 1.50 meter level. His offspring have generated over 2.39 million euros in prize money in Germany alone. Distinguished offspring in show jumping include Don Diarado, Olympic participant and German champion under Maurice Tebbel, Donatello who placed eleventh at the Olympic Games under Ashlee Bond, and Dicas who won the SAP prize under Margie Goldstein-Engle at CHIO Aachen. In eventing, performances are led by Diachello who achieved fifth place with the New Zealand team at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, JL Dublin who won individual and team gold at the European Championships in Avenches, and QC Diamantaire who has established himself at CCI5*-L level. Genetically, Diarado represents a combination of Holstein top breeding producers Corrado, Contender and Lord and the French performance stallion Diamant de Semilly, who won team gold at the World Championships in Jerez de la Frontera.
