In 2018, Heartbeat was awarded Breeders Trophy Stallion of the Year, thanks to three highly placed offspring: Heartcore L, winner of the 6-year-old class Thelma Hästak, who placed 5th in the same class Viking Hästak, who placed 3rd in the 4-year-old class Heartbeat has proven to be an excellent match for Swedish mares, bringing an international performance pedigree into modern Swedish jumping breeding. In 2012, Heartbeat was named “The Breeding Matador of Showjumping” by the Danish stallion licensing judges. He was also named Stallion of the Year in Denmark in 2013. Heartbeat is Elite-approved in both Denmark and Sweden. Heartbeat is a tall, uphill stallion with excellent type. At his approval in Denmark in 2004, he became the Champion Stallion ("Fløjhingst"), earning a total of 910 points in jumping. He was awarded: 9 for type 10 for his excellent topline and muscular croup 8 for correct limbs and strong hooves 10 for overall impression His trot was described as particularly good, and the canter was noted as especially ground-covering and well-balanced. Heartbeat won his 30-day test in Vilhelmsborg in 2005 and was champion as a 4-, 5-, and 6-year-old in Denmark. In 2006, as a 5-year-old, he won the Danish Young Horse Championship in jumping with a perfect score of 10 in all eight judged categories. That same year, he completed four clear rounds at the World Young Horse Championships in Zangersheide and placed second in the Five-Year-Old Championship in Falsterbo.
