About Chrome d'Ivraie

Chrome d'Ivraie is a 2012 bay Anglo-Arabian (AA) stallion, standing 1.70m, by Jarnac out of Lerida Gironde's damline. Bred by Stéphane Chalier in France, he's co-owned by Florian Angot and Hervé Thobois. His sire Jarnac is a proven top sport sire with nearly 30 offspring competing at 1.55m and above, including CSI5* winner Donatello d'Augé (Julien Epaillard, over 2.5 million EUR in prize money). An exceptional performer from a young age, Chrome was a finalist at the French Young Horse Championships at 4, 5, 6 (labelled "Excellent"), and 7 years old, and also reached the finals of the World 7-Year-Old Championship in Lanaken. Now 13, he's competed successfully at 1.50-1.55m level with Florian and Reynald Angot, with wins including the GP 1.50m Grand National in Le Mans and a 3rd place in the GP 1.55m at CSI4* Fontainebleau, among the best-performing Anglo-Arabian stallions of the decade. His still-young offspring are already making an impression in young horse classes, led by Joe de Cerisy (finalist, French 5yo Championship 2024) and Iris d'Ivraie.
