Viva Vitalis is a chestnut Oldenburg stallion born in 2019, bred by Gestüt Lewitz in Mühlen, Germany. He is by Vitalis, who was Champion Foal in the Netherlands in 2007, Reserve Champion at the NRW licensing in 2009, and won the Burg Cup final in Frankfurt in 2016 and the Stallion of the Year competition at Inter I level at the World Championships in Ermelo. Vitalis has produced nearly 70 licensed sons, with early Grand Prix successes including Valencia AS and Valesco with Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier, and Vamos Amigos with Cathrine Dufour. His dam Furtherance is a full sister of For Romance I OLD, Oldenburg Champion Stallion and Burg Cup finalist successful in Grand Prix, and For Romance II, a premium stallion placed in international Grand Prix competitions at only seven years old. His dam sire Fürst Romancier placed fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and the German National Championships, and has produced over 30 licensed sons. His dam's dam El.St. Gesine is also the dam of Champion Stallion Feinrich and Oldenburg Champion Mare Fürstin Gesine, both by Fürst Heinrich. Viva Vitalis was selected as the winning stallion at his licensing. He stands at stud with fresh semen at Paul Schockemoehle's facility in Mühlen, Germany.
