About Blue Hors Viva Vegas

At the licensing in Munich, Viva Vegas was named the crowd favorite and was described as an exceptionally outstanding horse. At the Danish stallion performance test, he claimed victory with a total score of 892 points, receiving scores between 9.0 and 9.5 for canter, rideability, and future prospects, along with 8.9 for trot and 8.5 for walk. At the Danish grading in 2024, he was crowned champion and received praise including the description “an impressive stallion.” His sire, Viva Gold, has already produced more than 15 approved sons from his first crop, including both Viva Vegas and V-Power. The damsire, Rock Forever I NRW, was reserve champion at his licensing and won bronze and silver medals at the national championships for three- and four-year-old horses. He placed sixth in the final at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and finished third in the Nuremberg Burg Cup in 2011. Viva Gold placed fifth at the German Young Rider Championships in 2013 with Sophie Holkenbrink and has since achieved victories up to Grand Prix level. The granddam, Fräulein Smilla, is a full sister to the approved stallion Floris and has been placed in young horse classes. Their full sister, St.Pr.St. Fatme, is the dam of the premium stallion Lautrec, winner at Medium level dressage, as well as the approved stallion Zion Incredible E. The great-granddam Weihegold OLD has won multiple World Cup qualifiers together with her rider Isabell Werth. The legendary Florestan I appears in the third generation and is one of the most successful dressage sires of all time. According to the WBFSH rankings, he has been placed among the top three sires and has produced 93 approved sons and more than 250 State Premium mares. Blue Hors Viva Vegas is approved via a one-mare license with SWB, DWB, Oldenburg, Westphalia, Holstein, and the South German breeding associations.
