About Søgårds Golden Moon

Søgårds Golden Moon is an exciting young stallion, purchased by Katrinelund as a foal as a stallion prospect. Already as a foal, he showed clear stallion characteristics. Golden Moon is out of the gold medal mare Lucky Moon, who was awarded no fewer than three 10s. Golden Moon’s sire Sir Sansibar was, before coming to Denmark, awarded premium stallion status in Westphalia and named best jumping stallion. Sir Sansibar stood for one season at Katrinelund, after which he went directly into sport. He now competes at international level under Filippa Jæger and is owned by Stald Magic. Golden Moon is a versatile stallion like his sire, very beautiful and expressive, correct and well conformed, with large, regular gaits and especially an excellent walk. He is already under saddle, where he maintains his big gaits and where the trot becomes even stronger. On the jumping side, he has shown carefulness and capacity from the very first jump. At the licensing, he received the highest scores among the 3-year-olds in jumping and was rewarded with very good technique (9) and very large capacity (9.5). Confirmed free of WFFS and CA.
