About Gershøj's Eid

Gershøj's Eid is a Fjord stallion born in 2008 in Denmark, standing 143 cm. He was licensed in Fjord in 2012 and has an impressive competition record. In 2015, he became Jutland/Funen champion in driving, in 2016 he won European Championship silver in allround, and in 2017 he became Danish champion in allround with a bronze medal and was entered in the sport studbook with a medal. During 2018, he won silver at the Jutland Championships in jumping and won the jumping championship for 7-year-olds and older with a score of 9. At his licensing, Gershøj's Eid was described as a significant stallion of good type with appropriate depth and width, expressive head connected with medium-length well-set neck, prominent mane, and good topline. The legs are appropriately refined with good pastern length and good hooves. The movements are quite good at walk, good and rhythmic at trot, and quite good but slightly on the forehand at canter. Gershøj's Eid passes on good temperament, three good gaits, and great willingness to cooperate. His offspring become taller than him, several reaching approximately 150 cm at the withers. The stallion loves to jump but is also good at dressage. His sire Trollfin is by Birkelidguten and dam Piaf is by Pikant Halsnæs.
