About Gaspard

TSF Gaspard ND is a dark bay Trakehner stallion born in 2018, owned by Trakehnerzucht Derlin in Germany and stationed at Hesselhøj in Denmark for 2026. He is a son of His Moment — champion of his licensing class and trained by German national coach Jonny Hilberath — out of his dam Gabriella by Imperio. Império was reserve champion at the Neumünster stallion licensing and competed successfully on the international dressage scene with Hubertus Schmidt, including a nomination for the Nations Cup, reserve selection for the Rio Olympics, and participation at the 2017 European Championships. He has produced 11 approved sons and 27 state premium mares, including Grand Prix stallion Heuberger TSF and Bundeschampionat vice champion Goldmond TSF. The dam line also features Schwadroneur, named Danish Stallion of the Year in both 2000 and 2023, who recorded 36 Grand Prix victories with Anne Grethe Törnblad and is the maternal grandsire of Olympic champion and world number one BB Dalera TSF under Jessica von Bredow-Werndl. Gaspard earned his premium at the Neumünster stallion licensing and won the seven-year-old championship in Neumünster in 2024. At the 2025 World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden, he placed third in the first qualification for seven-year-olds with Cecilie Hedegaard. His first crops have produced state premium mares and class-winning foals, including the winner of the dressage filly class at the Trakehner Foal Championship in Graditz in 2023 and a filly accepted into the Elite Foal Auction 2024 in Münster-Handorf.
