Chaplin's Touch B is a DSP stallion born in 2022, bred by ZG Schulze-Averdiek in Germany. He is a son of Chaplin out of a United Touch S dam. Chaplin was among the most successful show jumpers worldwide during his career, with victories and placings up to 1.65m under Martin Fuchs (SUI), including a World Cup Final victory and three 5* Grand Prix victories on the Global Champions Tour. Damsire United Touch S won the World Cup under Richard Vogel (GER) in Spruce Meadows, Geneva, Stuttgart, and Wellington, as well as numerous Grand Prix events. His granddam's sire Comme il faut, ridden by Marcus Ehning, won multiple 5* Grand Prix events in Madrid, Vienna, and Brussels. Granddam Acobata produced the approved stallions Cornado I and II. The stallion traces to Holstein line 4507, one of the most successful dam lines in the world. At the DSP licensing in 2025, Chaplin's Touch B was named champion stallion. He received top marks of up to 9.1 for rideability, jumping style, and willingness to perform, and passed his aptitude test in 2025. Show Jumping Sports Commissioner Andy Witzemann described him as the most complete show jumping stallion at the licensing over three days, with three very good basic gaits and characteristics from every generation of his pedigree reflected in him.
