About Methargos Blue PS

Methargos Blue PS is an Oldenburg show jumping stallion born in 2020, bred by Gestüt Lewitz in Mühlen, Germany. He descends from the stallion Montender, who won individual and team bronze at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens with Marco Kutscher and double gold at the European Championships in San Patrignano in 2005. His half-brother Mesulot PS collected numerous placings in the Youngster Tour with Eiken Sato and Philip Rüping after winning a series of competitions for young show jumping horses with scores of up to 9.2 and taking bronze at the Warendorf Championships for seven-year-olds. His dam Contharga Blue produced Eltharga PS OLD with Alexa Stais, reigning Oldenburg State Champion of six-year-old show jumping horses. The dam's sire Conthargos has produced almost 60 licensed sons and numerous top international horses at 1.60m level, including the Olympic show jumping horses Conthargo-Blue with Eiken Sato and Condara with Luis Fernando Larrazabal. The grand-dam Lovely Blue produced top international horses including Filuchi at 1.55m and Elvis Blue Hallelujah at 1.40m. Her daughter Con Lady Blue's offspring Casa Lady Love PS OLD won the Oldenburg State Championship for six-year-old show jumping horses in 2021 and competes at 1.60m level with Rene Lopez Lizarazo.
