Far Reekamp’s Eclips is also the sire of Opbroeks Wicklow, who was offered for sale in 2023 for a seven-figure sum. Eclips holds the titles keur, preferent, and national champion. His sire is the well-known progenitor and elite stallion Orlando, and his dam line is strong, featuring mares with kroon, Elite, and preferent titles. William also comes from a strong maternal line with several approved stallions. His dam is Ster, and his dam’s sire is Hoppenhof’s Jasper, who jumped at Z-level (the highest pony showjumping level) at a young age. His lineage also includes Woodrow Carisbrook, Peverils Peter Piper (Elite), and the legendary Kantjes Ronaldo. Ronaldo is considered the best European pony jumping sire and the greatest Dutch producer in both showjumping and dressage in the last 50 years, with many champion titles to his name. William was among the top ponies at his stallion performance test in 2019 and became the performance test winner with high marks in both jumping and dressage, earning him the titles Ster and Champion. He has competed in hunting, as well as Z1 (LAP1) level dressage, with placings even against horses, and was broken to driving in 2023. He earned a Performance predicate in 2024 for his own dressage achievements. A truly sporty all-around pony with the best possible temperament. In 2025, he sired three approved sons—two in the Netherlands and one in Germany. In 2024, he was FEI-qualified in dressage with a 13-year-old rider.
