About Future Hepsilon

Future Hepsilon is a 2017 grey stallion bred and owned by Julia Hodkin of Future Sport Horses in Great Britain, by Upsilon out of Heraldik Girl-W, by Heraldik xx. He is life-approved by the AES. His sire Upsilon, a Selle Français by Canturo, was a Nations Cup gold medallist in eventing and Vice World Champion as a seven-year-old, and is the sire of Golden de Beliard, back-to-back Young Event Horse World Champion. His dam Heraldik Girl-W jumped at 1.20 m and has produced three international eventers, among them Opposition Heraldik Girl, a CCI5* horse and Nations Cup gold medallist for Great Britain. His damsire Heraldik xx topped the WBFSH ranking of eventing sires five years running. As a five-year-old in 2022 Future Hepsilon qualified for all three British five-year-old eventing championships (Burghley Young Event Horse, Nexgen and the BE championship) and finished in the top twelve of each with double clears. He has also competed in international show jumping at CSI2* level. The breeder describes him as powerful and athletic with a clear talent for jumping, and as willing and easy to handle.
