Belamour

Belamour is a Westphalian stallion born in 2004 in Germany. After being approved in Westphalia in 2006, he was purchased for Flyinge in Sweden. The stallion won the Swedish dressage championship as a five-year-old and represented Sweden at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2009 and 2010 with Susanne Gielen. Under Norwegian Alexandra Andresen, Belamour has had a stellar career as a reliable member of the Norwegian junior team. The pair won all three classes at AEG 2012 and became Nordic champions with 77% in the freestyle, as well as Norwegian champions that same year. The 2012 season produced no fewer than 18 victories in junior classes. Success continued in 2013 with individual and freestyle gold at the Nordic Championships, individual silver and freestyle bronze at the European Championships, and victory in the Norwegian Championship. They won every day at the Arctic Equestrian Games and the European Championship qualifier in Roosendaal. The pair dominated the Norwegian rankings with 456 points and 17 victories. In 2014, they again won all classes at AEG and in Roosendaal, concluding the season with two silver medals at the Junior European Championships. His sire Belissimo M is trained to Grand Prix level and sire of over 30 licensed stallions and 38 state premium mares. Belissimo M received four tens at the 30-day test in 2002 with a final score of 9.63 in dressage, won the Bundeschampionat in 2003, and placed in both the Bundeschampionat and World Championships in 2004-2005.
