Quid Pro Quo began his career as a two-year-old by winning three out of five starts. He won, among others, the qualifying race for the Swedish Breeders' Crown (third in the Grade I final). As a three-year-old, Quid Pro Quo made ten starts and won four times, including the Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli (Grade I). He also finished second in the Ulf Thoresen Memorial (Grade I) and third in the short E3 final (Grade I). As a four-year-old, he had made eleven starts and secured four wins, including the Sprintermästaren Final (Grade I), as well as qualifying races for the King Gustaf V’s Trophy (second in the Grade I final) and the Swedish Trotting Derby (fourth in the Grade I final). Quid Pro Quo has also placed third in the Grosser Preis von Deutschland (Grade I). He was the fifth highest-earning stallion/gelding in the Swedish two-year-old cohort and the third highest-earning stallion/gelding as a three-year-old. At the time of evaluation, he was the second highest-earning stallion/gelding as a four-year-old. Quid Pro Quo has earned 7,068,290 SEK and holds a record of 10.2 auto over a short distance, achieved both as a three- and four-year-old when winning.
