Wingman van de Pitsemburg is a chestnut Belgian Warmblood stallion born in 2022, bred by Pitsemburg Ventures in Putte, Belgium. He is by Ermitage Kalone, who is by Catoki, one of the most successful show jumping stallions in the world. In 2024 alone, Ermitage Kalone placed second in the Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in Riyadh and the World Cup show jumping competition in Mechelen with Gilles Thomas, third in the Grand Prix in Madrid and Geneva, and competed in the individual Olympic final in Paris. Among his 14 licensed sons are the two BWP champion stallions Ultra Star JM and Vitalis JS Van Het Hagenbroek. His dam Waranka is a half sister of Uno (by Fuego du Prelet), who won the Grand Prix in Donetsk and placed second in the World Cup competition in Moscow. Waranka also produced the licensed stallion Lancelot van de Heffinck and several successful sport horses. His dam sire Quite Easy, a son of Quidam de Revel, began his career in Sweden where he became Youngster Champion and later Vice-Champion at the Swedish Championships. He has produced over 30 licensed sons and ranks among the world's best show jumping and eventing sires in the WBFSH rankings. Wingman impressed at his licensing in Zangersheide with clear superiority and explosiveness at the jump. He stands at stud with fresh semen at Paul Schockemoehle's facility in Mühlen, Germany, from April 22, 2025.
