Sir Oldenburg is a refined stallion who suits a wide range of mares thanks to his strong ability to pass on type, his multi-discipline talent, and his excellent disposition. He produces offspring suitable for both professionals and amateurs. His progeny compete at the advanced level in dressage, show jumping, and eventing, and are known for their pleasant temperaments, good rideability, elegance, and—perhaps most importantly—a wonderful desire to always do their best! Sir Oldenburg is a true multi-talent by the highly interesting KWPN stallion Sion, whose outstanding offspring include the German champion Sterntaler Unicef (see video below). With Matthias Alexander Rath, Sterntaler was Germany’s top dressage horse at the European Championships in Windsor and was named Horse of the Year in Germany! Sir Oldenburg's dam line is strong and well-established, with many generations of premium and elite mares. The line belongs to the well-known Gunetta family, and his dam Greta Garbo is an elite-awarded state premium mare. In addition to Sir Oldenburg, she has produced several top offspring in both sport and breeding—for example, Sir Oldenburg's three-year-old full sister Greta O (by Sandro Hit), who was sold at the Vechta Elite Auction in October 2009 for half a million euros!
