About Apardi 9681

Apardi competed at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, ridden by Daniel Bluman. In addition to his Olympic appearance, he has accumulated numerous victories and top placings at international five-star competitions. Apardi stands out for his exceptional scope, quick reflexes, and positive attitude—qualities that together form the foundation of his strong competitive results. Sold as a three-year-old to investors in Colombia, Apardi began his successful sport career there. When he was seven years old, Daniel Bluman took over the ride. His offspring have shown strong performances in young horse classes, at stallion performance tests, and in sport. His son Napardi was the highest-scoring stallion at the KWPN performance test in 2022. Other approved sons include Aligato Ra Z and Naughty Boy vd Hagenhorst. His oldest offspring have already achieved success up to 1.40 m level. Already at the age of nine, Apardi was successful in CSIO4* and CSIO5* Grand Prix classes. This was followed by an outstanding career at the highest international level, culminating in his participation at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro as an eleven-year-old. Apardi is a full brother to the KWPN-approved stallion Bacardi VDL, who, together with Jos Lansink, won silver at the World Championships for Young Jumping Horses for seven-year-olds. Bacardi VDL later competed at the World Championships in Tryon and is now ridden by Janika Sprunger. His sire, Corland, ridden by Wout-Jan van de Schans, was himself highly successful in international top-level show jumping and has produced outstanding sport horses such as California, VDL Torlando, Andrettie S, and Silvana HDC. The dam, Supardi, is a half-sister to the international show jumpers Tupardie (by Ahorn) and Agupardie (by Montreal VDL). The international 1.50 m horse Virginia II, ridden by Arthur da Silva, also originates from this dam line. The damsire, Kannan, has been, is, and will remain for a long time among the world’s leading sires of winning show jumpers. He is renowned for passing on power, respect for the fences, and great bravery—three qualities that have made him one of the most highly sought-after breeding stallions worldwide. Apardi is approved with KWPN and Selle Français and is also approved via a one-mare license with SWB.

Do more in the Avla app

This is just a glimpse of what's here. The Avla app is where breeders plan their next foal, whether it's your first mare or your fortieth season. Open this stallion in the app and you get the full picture: the complete description, every photo, his competition results, the whole pedigree generation by generation, and his offspring with their own results and bloodlines.

And Avla goes well beyond browsing stallions. It’s your digital breeding partner, with you from the first “which stallion?” all the way to the foal on the ground. Calculate inbreeding between any mare and stallion in seconds, so you can match with confidence instead of crossing your fingers. Track your mare’s heat cycles, log every covering, treatment, and ultrasound, and follow her through pregnancy with a calendar that walks you week by week. And when you’re weighing your options, Stig, Avla’s AI breeding advisor, is there to talk through matches and answer your breeding questions like a friend who knows their bloodlines.

No scattered notebooks, no guesswork. Just your whole breeding journey in one place, free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
