About Olesko

Olesko OLD is an Oldenburg show jumping stallion born in 2021, bred by Böckmann Pferde GmbH in Lastrup, Germany. In his first competition season, he won the Oldenburg State Championships, placed second at the prestigious 18th Deister Championships for four-year-olds, and won a series of competitions for young show jumping horses with scores of up to 8.9 with trainer Leonie Bußmann-Wöhle. In his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, he finished fourth with top marks. He descends from the famous Aleska Z line. His sire Ogano Sitte is considered one of the most valuable sons of the influential Darco. His great-grand-dam is the famous Gute Sitte, team bronze medallist at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal and founding mare of one of the most successful dam lines. Ogano Sitte achieved international show jumping successes up to four-star level with Dominique Hendrickx and has produced almost 50 licensed stallions, including Aganix du Seigneur with Jos Lansink and Bogano with Jeremy Sweetnam, both successful at 1.60m level. Since 2016, he has ranked among the world's best show jumping sires according to the WBFSH. His dam Louisiana Libby produced Four Roses with Leonie Böckmann, successful in international 1.50m competitions. The dam's sire Lord Pezi placed at the World Championships for young show jumping horses and achieved victories at 1.45m level, and has produced over 20 licensed sons. The grand-dam St.Pr.St. Aquinora reached the Brillantring at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede and produced Acota M with Natalie Dean, successful at 1.60m level. The great-grand-dam Aleska Z is the foundation mare of Böckmann's performance breeding and produced the stallion Cordalmé Z, victorious in Nations Cups with Gilbert Böckmann.
