About Fürst Romancier

Fürst Romancier is an Oldenburg stallion born in 2004, bred by Lothar Schulze in Schenkenberg, Germany. He was awarded the Oldenburg main premium and placed fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2009 and at the German Championships the same year. His sire Fürst Heinrich was Champion Stallion in 2001, main premium winner in 2002, and World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses in 2003, with over 50 licensed sons including Fürstenball. The dam's sire Romancier, successful up to Prix St. Georges, descends from the Olympic Dodona line, from which Rembrandt with Nicole Uphoff and Ahlerich with Dr. Reiner Klimke also descend. Fürst Romancier has produced over 30 licensed stallions. His most notable Grand Prix offspring include First Romance, Burg Cup winner and third in the Louisdor Prize with Dorothee Schneider, and For Romance I OLD with Therese Nilshagen, two-time Champion Stallion. Fasine OLD, full sister of For Romance I OLD, won the Oldenburg Championships and German Championships and sold as top price at the PSI Auction. Fashion Prinz OLD won gold at the Oldenburg Championships with Frederic Wandres and placed fourth at the German Championships. DSP First Class with Lia Welschof, three-time European Young Riders Vice Champion, and Fürst Enno with Juliane Brunkhorst compete successfully at Grand Prix level. He represents the successful Oldenburg Edoste line.
