Celtic Rebel of Hazelfield was approved in Belgium in 2024 with an average score of 9. He completed an excellent free-jumping test and received special praise for his very well-balanced gaits, particularly his canter. He was imported in March 2024. Celtic Rebel of Hazelfield is a very strong representative of the modern Connemara pony. Pedigree Sire: Westide Mirah II IRE (S2-372100400002671) Westide Mirah II was imported from Ireland and spent his entire sport and breeding career in France. In show jumping, he competed successfully at CSI1 and CSI2** level and progressed up to 1.25 m classes, including a 5th place at CSI Amateur B in Challans and 2nd place in a 1.20 m class at CSI Lummen in 2010 and 2011. In 2020, he was crowned Supreme Champion at the National Connemara Show and French Ridden Class Champion. Damsire: Gwennic de Goariva FRA (25000194210559S) Gwennic de Goariva was an international show jumping pony in France, surpassed only by Dexter Leam Pondi. He won the Grand Prix Jumping Circuit title and was the overall 4–5-year-old conformation champion across all breeds. His offspring are known for their excellent temperaments, competitive gaits, and exceptional jumping ability. He was awarded Leading Connemara Sire of the Year at HOYS in both 2017 and 2019.
