About Quatro de Riverland

Quatro de Riverland is a 2004 dark bay Selle Français Originel stallion, standing 1.64m, by Diamant de Semilly out of Razzia de Revel, full sister to the legendary foundation sire Quidam de Revel. Bred and owned by Elevage de Riverland in France. His sire Diamant de Semilly is among the world's greatest sires, topping the WBFSH ranking again in 2023, with offspring including Don VHP Z (over 2 million EUR in prize money with H. Smolders) and Emerald (Rio Olympics with H. Smolders). His dam's family, Selle Français damline n°7, has produced generations of top performers including Uriel and Arqana de Riverland. An early injury cut short Quatro's own competition career, but after a few promising rounds at 4 and 5, he was retired to stud. His offspring, still relatively young, already include Jack Straw (GP 1.50m in the United States) and Candy de Coquerie (French 6-year-old Reserve Champion). Described by his breeders as displaying a classic Quidam-type conformation with suppleness, power, and good balance, Quatro passes on a strong competitor mindset and carefulness.
