Diathargos Blue PS is an Oldenburg bay stallion born in 2022, bred by Gestüt Lewitz in Mühlen. He bears the unmistakable stamp of his dam's half-brother Conthargos — the same ideal use of the body over the fence, combined with heart, courage, and intelligence. His sire Diaron won the Grand Prix in Warendorf under Alexa Stais and uniquely won double Bundeschampionat gold in 2017 and 2018, the only stallion to achieve this in the competition's 40-year history. Diaron's offspring include international 1.55m horses such as Diakatisa PS with Kent Farrington and SMA Disney with Sophie Hinners, plus twelve licensed sons. The dam sire Chacco-Blue topped the WBFSH show jumping sire ranking for six consecutive years from 2017, with highlights including Olympic gold medalist Explosion W, European Champion Chaqui Z, and World Cup finalist EIC Up Too Jacco Blue. Paternal grandmother Cristalla is a full sister to Conthargos and to three 1.60m show jumpers. Third-generation sire Carthago competed at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics with Jos Lansink.
