La Paix is an Oldenburg stallion born in 2022, bred by Dr. Katharina Paschertz in Cloppenburg, Germany. He won the Oldenburg licensing and took silver at the German Championships for young horses in Warendorf with rider Vanessa Crnadak, receiving scores of up to 9.5 for canter and a total score of 8.8. The judges commented on his confident and light-footed trot with good freedom of the shoulders, expressive and self-assured canter, and outstanding rideability. In his stallion performance test in Denmark, he received the highest test score of 9.5 for canter and finished with 892.0 points as reserve winner. His sire La Vie qualified for the Nuremberg Burg Cup Final with Therese Nilshagen with over 75 percent and made his international Small Tour debut at CHIO Aachen with third place in Inter I. His daughter London Eye won gold at the German Championships for young horses in 2024. La Paix's dam El.St. Rioja also produced Oldenburg licensing winner Bonds, double stallion performance test winner and successful at advanced S level, and Brighton OLD, silver medallist at the German Championships for young riding horses and bronze medallist at the Oldenburg State Championships. La Paix's full brother Lloris won the Oldenburg Junior Championships. The dam's sire Sir Donnerhall I has for many years ranked among the world's most successful dressage sires according to the WBFSH ranking. He has produced over 70 Grand Prix horses, including Olympic participants Samhitas with Kelly Layne and Sir Caramello OLD with Anush Agarwalla, as well as over 100 licensed stallions.
