About Excuse Me

Excuse Me is a Westphalian stallion born in 2023, bred by ZG Dr. Roland & Britta Labohm in Halsenbach, Germany. He placed third at the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf, where the breeding director Thomas Münch described him as harmonious and supple, with self-assurance, good rhythm on the lunge, and good walk. He comes from the first crop of Extra Gold, winner of the Westphalian licensing and victorious in his sporting debut in competitions for young riding horses. Extra Gold's dam St.Pr.St. Aweih H was successful in advanced S* level dressage and is a daughter of Weihegold OLD – Oldenburg Champion Mare, winner of the Burg Cup and Louisdor Prize, Olympic gold medallist with Isabell Werth, triple World Cup winner, and fourfold European Champion. Excuse Me's dam Charmeur's Cherry also produced First Filou M, successful at intermediate M* level in dressage. The dam's sire Charmeur won his stallion performance test in the Netherlands with 86.5 points, won the Pavo Cup in 2011 and 2012 with Emmelie Scholtens, and competed successfully in Grand Prix arenas including Aachen and Rotterdam from 2018. He has produced 16 licensed stallions and ranks among the top 20 dressage sires in the WBFSH world ranking. The dam's grand-dam's daughter First Lady M is the maternal grand-dam of premium stallion DSP Birkhof's Elocin, DSP Champion and bronze medallist at the 2023 German Championships for three-year-old stallions, and silver medallist in 2024.
