About Agathon S (SWB)
The sire, Cosmopolite S, is by the legendary Cardento. The bloodlines of Cosmopolite S have produced numerous successful sport horses. The Cosmopolite line is often associated with strong jumping ability and excellent rideability.
The dam, Carisma, descends from Caretino bloodlines. The Caretino line is internationally recognized for contributing carefulness, excellent front-leg technique, and strength — several top international jumping stallions originate from this line. Carisma has produced 12 offspring, including Spender S, who competed at the highest international level with Maria Gretzer and Jos Lansink, achieving victories in major Grand Prix classes and placings in World Cup competitions, Nations Cups, and championship rounds. He was also part of the Swedish team and represented Sweden at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen 2006. Spender S is an Elite-approved stallion with approximately 200 offspring.
Agathon S 1356 therefore combines modern Swedish/Holsteiner jumping lines, Cosmopolite/Cardento, with Caretino bloodlines on the dam’s side —
a combination that often produces strong jumping qualities (take-off, technique, carefulness), which is clearly reflected in Agathon S as an individual and in his sport career.
