Orlando Has Proven Exceptionally Well with Swedish Mares Orlando has consistently passed on outstanding qualities when bred to Swedish mares. His sire, Heartbreaker, was himself successful at the international Grand Prix level with Peter Geerink. Heartbreaker has topped the rankings as Belgium’s leading sport horse sire for many years and, in 2002, also climbed to the top of the Dutch jumping index list. Last but not least, he has been a leading sire on the WBFSH sire rankings for several consecutive years. Every year, Heartbreaker offspring dominate among top young jumping horses. Orlando was crowned Champion of the BWP stallion competition as a 4-, 5-, and 6-year-old, and later achieved victories and placings in international Grand Prix jumping. He has proven to be a perfect match for Swedish broodmares, producing a remarkably high percentage of offspring that qualify for championships, with several top-selling foals at auctions in Sweden.
