Loveur de Startup is a 2021 bay Selle Français stallion, standing 1.63m, by Chacoon Blue. Bred by Ecurie Startup, he's jointly owned by Marc Dilasser and France Étalons. His sire Chacoon Blue, one of Paul Schockemöhle's most sought-after stallions, competed to CSI3* 1.50m level with Philip Rüping before an injury redirected him to breeding, where he has already produced several international winners including Chatadel PS (1.45m winner with Erynn Ballard) and Chaloubino PS (German Vice-Champion, 7th at the World Championship for 6-year-olds). His dam Folie de Nantuel, internationally known as Hello Folie, was developed by Marc Dilasser before joining Scott Brash, with whom she won the GP5*W in Doha at just 10 years old; the damline traces back to the foundation Thoroughbred mare Massey Mare, born in 1700, and includes international winners across both show jumping and eventing. Loveur was licensed by the Selle Français studbook at just 3 years old, earning an exceptional final score of 18.90 out of 20 in his Stallion Performance Test.
