He strongly stamps his offspring and improves their canter, rideability, temperament, and type, making him suitable for a broad spectrum of mares. He is also a documented Golden Cross on the C-bloodlines from Holstein! His sire, Diamant de Semilly, was a World Championship gold medalist in jumping in Jerez and is now considered one of France’s and Europe’s most important modern line breeders. He has been a leading sire for many years in French breeding and has produced countless stallions and competition horses at the absolute top of the world elite. The damsire is the legendary Darco, who topped the WBFSH World Rankings for many years as the world’s leading show jumping sire! Darco himself was one of the top competition horses of his time with Ludo Philippaerts, with, among other achievements, a 4th place at the World Championships in Stockholm and numerous wins and placings in international Grand Prix competitions. He remains highly relevant in top sport through many fantastic offspring. In the third generation, there is once again one of France’s line breeders, Quidam de Revel, who with Hervé Godignon has fantastic jumping merits at championship level and who undoubtedly is one of the stallions who has left the deepest mark on modern show jumping breeding worldwide. Quidam de Revel has had an enormous impact on much of modern show jumping breeding through his fantastic sons and grandsons, such as Nabab de Reve and World Champion Vigo d’Arsouilles.
