About Seacrest

Seacrest is a chestnut Hanoverian stallion born in 2021, bred by Dirk Hoffmann in Wolfsburg and owned by Helgstrand Dressage and Paul Schockemöhle Pferdehaltung GmbH. He is stationed in Mühlen, Germany, and approved in Hanover, Oldenburg, Westphalia, and Rhineland among others. Seacrest was Reserve Champion at the 2023 Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf and subsequently completed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with scores of 9.0 for rideability and willingness to perform. His first crops of foals have been consistently well received at auction — Spirit of Hope, winner of the German Foal Championships in Lienen, sold for €72,000 at the premiere of the German Horse Quality Dressage Foal Auction in Warendorf, while Seacraft was the top price in the Rhineland. His sire Secret is a son of Sezuan, triple World Champion and international winner, and won his 14-day test, silver at the 2017 German Championships for young riding horses, and silver at the 2019 World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses. He won the German Championships for six-year-old dressage horses in 2020 with Jessica Lynn Thomas and has produced over 70 approved sons, including Segantini FRH with Dorothee Schneider, twice placed in the top ten at the World Championships for young dressage horses. His dam's sire Christ has produced over 20 approved stallions, including Cadeau Noir, successful in World Cup dressage, and Coal Diamond, Vice German Young Horse Champion and successful at Grand Prix level. His granddam Feldmarie is a full sister to the St. Georges-level dressage horse Fiderlist. The same Oldenburg dam line has produced the licensed stallion Weltissimo with Hubertus Schmidt and the Grand Prix horse No Limit, also with Hubertus Schmidt.
