About Zauberdeyk

Zauberdeyk is a true dual-talent stallion with 50% Thoroughbred blood, combining outstanding type, presence, and rideability. He has enjoyed significant success in both eventing and dressage. In addition to his exceptional temperament, he boasts an impressive conformation: a tall, modern horse with long legs and excellent ability in piaffe and passage. At his approval in Neumünster in 2009, Zauberdeyk impressed both judges and spectators with his excellent gaits and clear, efficient, and rhythmical movement. His athletic ability and highly desirable pedigree from performance-proven ancestors make Zauberdeyk a very attractive stallion for all disciplines. Zauberdeyk completed his 30-day performance test in Schlieckau with a total score of 8.15 (Dressage: 8.18 / Jumping: 7.96). Internationally, he achieved great success in eventing with Evelina Carlsson in the saddle. Zauberdeyk won CIC* competitions in Hovdala, Sweden, and Copenhagen in 2017 and 2018, and also placed in CIC** at Strzegom. He was a member of the Swedish national team at the Nordic Championships in eventing in 2016. In 2019, he was ridden by Lune Karolin Müller in advanced dressage, and since 2024 he has been ridden by Anders Hoeck at Hesselhoej. Notable Offspring and Bloodlines Zauberdeyk’s son Kirwan became Trakehner Champion in show jumping in 2017 and qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 5-year-old event horses. His approved son Berlioz (born 2020, out of a mare by Heuberger) won an eventing competition in Germany in March 2025 with an outstanding score of 9.2 and is now part of the stable of multiple Olympic rider Michael Jung. WFFS-free.
