About Vangog du mas Garnier

VANGOG DU MAS GARNIER is a 2009 grey Selle Français stallion by Cornet Obolensky, out of Natasha, bred by Dominique Maes in France. Standing 164 cm, he made his sport debut with A. Darragon and then B. Bailly, competing in the French 6-year-old Championship, before moving to Olivier Robert's stable for the whole of his international career at the top level. The pair earned nearly half a million euros in prize money, with results including a win in the Rome GCT 5* Grand Prix (2021), two 1.50m Grand Prix wins at St Tropez CSI5* (2020), 2nd in the 1.55m Grand Prix at Oslo CSI W5* (2022), 3rd in the Aachen Nations Cup (2021), and 7th in the 1.60m Grand Prix at the legendary Calgary CSIO (2018). Chic with a modern type, he's described as full of energy and generosity, expected to bring athletic capacity along with improved suppleness and reactivity to his offspring, and considered a refiner best suited to medium to larger mares. His own offspring are still rare with sport prioritized, though a handful were bred by Dominique Maes, including Guess du Mas Garnier (CSI1* Italy) and Ines du Mas Garnier (French 5yo Hunter classes); 2023 was his first official breeding season. Available at Haras France Etalons via frozen semen only. Available with frozen semen only. Buyer bonus: with each Vangog du Mas Garnier contract purchased, one of France Etalons' young stallions' stud fees is offered for free.

This is just a glimpse of what's here. The Avla app is where breeders plan their next foal, whether it's your first mare or your fortieth season. Open this stallion in the app and you get the full picture: the complete description, every photo, his competition results, the whole pedigree generation by generation, and his offspring with their own results and bloodlines.

And Avla goes well beyond browsing stallions. It’s your digital breeding partner, with you from the first “which stallion?” all the way to the foal on the ground. Calculate inbreeding between any mare and stallion in seconds, so you can match with confidence instead of crossing your fingers. Track your mare’s heat cycles, log every covering, treatment, and ultrasound, and follow her through pregnancy with a calendar that walks you week by week. And when you’re weighing your options, Stig, Avla’s AI breeding advisor, is there to talk through matches and answer your breeding questions like a friend who knows their bloodlines.

No scattered notebooks, no guesswork. Just your whole breeding journey in one place, free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
