About Latour TN

Latour undoubtedly carries the best jumping blood in his veins. He is one of the very last sons of the legendary Darco and comes on the dam’s side from perhaps the most successful mare line in the world for show jumping. Latour descends directly from the super mare Querly Chin, by Chin Chin, who herself competed at the highest international 160 level with Christoph Barbeau. Querly Chin has several approved sons, such as Tchin de Muze and Scarface de Muze in France, both by Dollar de Perriere, as well as Orly Chin de Muze by Espri. She has also produced no fewer than six international Grand Prix horses: Narcotique II (160 cm jumping) and Narcotique IV (160 cm jumping), both by Darco Mervielle de Muze (160 cm jumping) Walnut de Muze (160 cm jumping) Wallon de Muze (160 cm jumping) And naturally, Latour’s granddam Werly Chin de Muze (155 cm jumping), all by Nabab de Reve. Werly Chin de Muze herself was a finalist at the Young Horse World Championship in show jumping as a 5-year-old and now competes internationally at the highest level. She has produced, among others, Derly Chin de Muze (160 cm jumping), who competed at the London 2012 Olympics with Eric Lamaze, Diabless de Muze (160 cm jumping), and Latour’s dam Everly Chin de la Pomme (160 cm jumping). Latour’s dam has so far produced only two offspring, both approved stallions and top of their generation in BWP: Latour himself and the 2013 champion stallion in BWP, the great jumper Kasanova de la Pomme by Bamako de Muze (by Darco).
