About Bon Coeur 1389

“Bon Coeur is a spectacular stallion with brilliant gaits. A rideability that makes it easy for the rider to do the job.” — Carl Hester Bon Coeur has amazing elasticity, powerful yet light and airy gaits. He was premium stallion at Verden in 2014 and won his 30-day test in Schlieckau in a very strong field with a total score of 9.1 for gaits. During the 30-day test, he received the maximum score of 10.0 several times. Bon Coeur has repeatedly been awarded 9.0 for rideability in the qualifiers for the Bundeschampionat. He was also champion in Hannover in 2016 and was vice-Bundeschampion in Warendorf both as a three- and four-year-old. Bon Coeur is a truly modern sport horse, with his three very good gaits, fantastic mechanics, and superb rideability. In 2017, he was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize by the Hannoveraner Verband for his magnificent year in the sport. Bon Coeur made his first start in Sweden in September 2018. In the 6-year-old program, he scored as high as 93%, including a 10 for future potential. He made one more start that fall, winning an MsvB:5 class with 73.2%. Bon Coeur began the 2019 competition season strongly with a win in the 7-year-old program, scoring 80.3%. He also won his second start and was quickly qualified for Falsterbo. With Caroline Darcourt in the saddle, Bon Coeur had a very successful 7-year-old season. The pair impressed in the German selections for the Young Horse World Championships and ended up as first reserve for the German team. The 2020 season started in style with a second place in St. Georges (72.4%) and a first win in international Intermediaire I (71.9%) in Wellington. During the second competition weekend in Wellington, the pair won the international CDI1* Prix St Georges class with 72.9%.

Do more in the Avla app

This is just a glimpse of what's here. The Avla app is where breeders plan their next foal, whether it's your first mare or your fortieth season. Open this stallion in the app and you get the full picture: the complete description, every photo, his competition results, the whole pedigree generation by generation, and his offspring with their own results and bloodlines.

And Avla goes well beyond browsing stallions. It’s your digital breeding partner, with you from the first “which stallion?” all the way to the foal on the ground. Calculate inbreeding between any mare and stallion in seconds, so you can match with confidence instead of crossing your fingers. Track your mare’s heat cycles, log every covering, treatment, and ultrasound, and follow her through pregnancy with a calendar that walks you week by week. And when you’re weighing your options, Stig, Avla’s AI breeding advisor, is there to talk through matches and answer your breeding questions like a friend who knows their bloodlines.

No scattered notebooks, no guesswork. Just your whole breeding journey in one place, free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
