Rink – applied genetic diversity Rink is by Fabe 348 and represents the increasingly rare Age sire line. Following the loss of several stallions, only Wolter 513 remains as an active KFPS-approved stallion within this line. Rink combines: • a rare sire line • a MODEL-graded dam • a very low inbreeding coefficient (~1.17%) • documented quality (STER, approved by Barockpinto & FPZV) When used on a KFPS-registered mare, female offspring are registered in the D-book, with the possibility to return to the main studbook when bred to a KFPS-approved stallion in the next generation. This is a recognized and regulated strategy for long-term genetic diversification. Rink is stationed in Canada. Only a limited number of frozen semen doses are available in Europe. Rink received the STER title at only 3 years old in KFPS! Free from dwarfism, hydrocephalus, and/or the red gene, making him a safe and reliable breeding stallion. With only 1.17% inbreeding, he is an optimal choice for many mares. He comes from the prestigious Age line, making him a sought-after and unique representative. Rink’s dam is a MODEL PREFERENT mare, further strengthening his breeding credentials. At his approval in FPZV, Rink was awarded 9s for riding, driving, development potential, and character, while in BPS he scored 8.5 for breed standard and 8 for leg quality.
