Sambucci de Muze

One of the standouts of the 2021 BWP stallion selection. Both in free jumping and under saddle, Sambucci de Muze impressed with his technique, attitude, carefulness and appraisal ability. It ensured that the sharp chestnut stallion ended up in the notebook of many breeders already. This was also noticed by the Dutch VDL Stud, with whom we co-own the stallion since then. Moreover, Sambucci is bred entirely according to the De Muze recipe. Sire Scendro already stands at our stud for several years and dam Malissa de Muze is a daughter of Vigo d'Arsouilles out of our former top mare Cordula de Laubry. Malissa is therefore the half-sister of Fantomas de Muze and Lector vd Bisschop and jumps at 1.60m level herself. We expect Sambucci to at least match this. His achievements so far have been very impressive. He won the final of the KWPN Stallion Competition in Den Bosch twice and was a finalist at the World Championships in Lanaken as a 5- and 6-year-old, where he jumped clear both times. During the KWPN performance test, he impressed and scored no less than 88 points and received a 9 for his scope, canter, attitude, rideability and for his talent as a jumper. His first offspring were born in 2022.
