About Fidertanz

Fidertanz is a Rhinelander stallion born in 2002, bred by Hermann Schult in Hünxe, Germany. He won his licensing in Münster in 2004, his stallion performance test in Neustadt in 2005 with top scores, became German Vice Champion of young horses in Warendorf in 2005, and won the Oldenburg Ia main premium in 2006. He competed up to international Grand Prix level with António Do Vale and was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2021. For three years he ranked among the top ten dressage sires in the WBFSH world ranking, reaching seventh place in 2022. Fidertanz has produced over 60 licensed stallions. Among his most notable offspring are Franziskus FRH with Ingrid Klimke, team bronze medallist at the World Championships in Herning in 2022, Fiderdance OLD, placed in the World Cup final in Omaha in 2023, Fidertraum OLD with Florian Bacher, Olympic participant in Tokyo in 2021, and elite stallion Foundation with Matthias Alexander Rath, successful in Nations Cups. Flamboyant OLD with Valentina Pistner won 13 medals at the European Youth Championships, including four gold medals. In eventing, the Tokyo 2021 Olympian Flandia and Fifty Fifty with Patrick Rüegg, placed fourth by team at the European Championships, stand out. Prize money of his offspring registered in Germany totals 1.51 million euros. His sire Fidermark was reserve champion at the NRW licensing in 1994 and won his stallion performance test in Warendorf in 1995 with an index of 141.74 points.
