About Vito

Vito is a bay Hanoverian stallion born in 2023, bred by Hendrik Schäfer in Vechelde, Germany. He is by Viva Vitalis, the reigning German Dressage Bundeschampion and Oldenburg Regional Champion, who won the Bundeschampionat for six-year-old dressage horses in 2025 with scores of 9.5 for canter and perspective and 9.3 for trot. Viva Vitalis has also produced his first licensed sons and highly priced auction horses. His dam Hann.Pr.St. Dantes No Limit is a half sister of the licensed Vice Bundeschampion in eventing Abraxas, successful internationally with Pia and Ben Leuwer. Her half siblings Ventura and Liviano achieved results through medium (M) level dressage. His dam sire Dantes Junior, a son of Dante Weltino OLD, was a premium stallion with top scores at his performance test and has produced several licensed sons. The dam line also includes the Olympic team silver medallist Sunrise with Imke Schellekens-Bartels. Vito was awarded premium stallion at the Hanoverian licensing, where the licensing commission highlighted his stable foundation, correct conformation, and powerful movement with highlights in the canter. He stands at stud with fresh semen at Helgstrand Dressage in Vodskov, Denmark.
