Adzaro de L'Abbaye B is a Selle Français stallion born in 2010, bred by G.A.E.C. De L'Abbaye in France and standing at Hengststation Bachl in Germany. He is a son of Quaprice Bois Margot (by Quidam de Revel, Holstein line 504), with Diamant de Semilly as his damsire. Quaprice Bois Margot was French champion at six and seven years of age and competed at the Global Tour in Arezzo, La Baule, and Lors before passing away prematurely, producing several approved stallions. Damsire Diamant de Semilly was a member of the French team that won the World Team Championship in Jerez in 2002 and was runner-up at the European Championships in 2003 under Eric Levallois; he consistently ranks among the top three sires in the WBFSH world rankings for show jumping sires. Adzaro de L'Abbaye B won the French stallion licensing in St. Lo, was champion of the four-year-olds in Normandy, and reached the final in Fontainebleau. He qualified for the French Championships in Fontainebleau with 13 victories. He went on to compete successfully in international youngster tours with Tobias Bachl and reached 1.50m internationally with rider Marjolaine Marraud des Grottes of France. His offspring are now active in international youngster tours, show jumping competitions for young horses, junior championships, and early international classes up to 1.45m. A notable offspring is Adzomet KES, winner of the Austrian National Championships and currently competing in international youngster tours. The stallion impresses with correct conformation, a big canter, willingness to perform, and careful technique at the jump.
