About Dino W
Dino W is an ultra-modern, elegant top stallion with a remarkable 46% Thoroughbred blood, incredibly fast reflexes, and exceptional capacity, scope, and technique. Despite his young age, Dino W has already achieved so much; his future in the international spotlight has only just begun, as he repeatedly demonstrates what a super talent he is. No obstacle seems too big for Dino.
Dino W moves completely relaxed and naturally uphill with a fantastic, powerful gallop. He has a lovely, calm attitude that contributes to his excellent rideability. He is a dream to work with and has the will to perform at the highest level. At only 10 years old, he competes at the top international levels worldwide and has established himself at 1.60m with 5* wins including Stuttgart and the World Cup in Helsinki, after already winning in Vejer de la Frontera, Dublin, and Lanaken.
In 2018, Dino was sold to the King of Monaco and is now successfully competed by Abdelkebir Ouaddar with the goal of the Olympics.
Dino W’s pedigree flows with top-class performance blood. He is by the famous World Championship gold medalist BERLIN, who, with Gerco Schröder, also took a European team gold and countless wins in Grand Prix and Nations Cups. Berlin received KEUR status from KWPN in 2014 and remains high on the WBFSH stallion ranking list.
Dino W’s dam line is also of noble quality. His dam is a half-sister to the approved stallions Amateur Z, Freedom Z, and Chamir Z. She has also produced Dino’s half-brother, FIXDESIGN VAN DUTCH, who competes successfully at 1.60m.
Dino’s granddam Roxan Z is a full sister to one of our era’s greatest stars, RATINA Z — a horse who earned multiple Olympic and World Championship medals. Ratina is the dam of approved stallions Comme il Faut, Crown Z, Treasure Z, and Rex Z. She is also sister to the approved stallions Rebel Z I, II, and III. This phenomenal dam line is also the origin of the legendary Ahorn Z, a French Grand Prix giant with enormous influence in breeding.
Dino W had his first foals in 2018. The offspring are very sporty, with a noble type and consistently expressive gaits. They are expected to possess great capacity and excellent temperament, just like their sire. We eagerly look forward to this year’s foals.
