About GL Performance Horses Pty Ltd

I am dedicated to producing top quality Warmblood dressage horses that combine talent, temperament, and of beautiful correct types. Each foal is bred with the future rider in mind. Horses that are athletic, correct, and a pleasure to train and develop. Using imported frozen semen from licensed European stallions with a strong focus on Hanoverian pedigree, I carefully match my mares to world class bloodlines proven in both sport and breeding. My goal is to produce foals with exceptional movement, modern conformation, and rideability, giving them every advantage for a successful career. Responsible breeding is central to my programme. All breeding stock is fully tested, reducing risks and ensuring the long term health and soundness of each foal. From the moment they are born, every youngster receives the best possible start: a veterinary check within 24 hours, high-quality nutrition, a strict vaccination & worming programme, and regular farrier care. Consistent, professional handling ensures foals grow up confident, well mannered, and ready for their next stage of development. I place a strong emphasis on character and trainability. My horses are bred to be competitive in the dressage arena, but just as importantly, they are bred to be enjoyable partners to work with every day. Whether destined for top level sport or as a talented partner for an ambitious rider, my horses are given the care, foundation, and bloodlines to excel.

Do more in the Avla app

This is just a glimpse of what's here. The Avla app is where breeders plan their next foal, whether it's your first mare or your fortieth season. Open this page in the app and you get the full picture: every horse on the page with photos, results and full pedigrees, plus the latest posts and events. Follow the page to keep up.

And Avla goes well beyond browsing stallions. It’s your digital breeding partner, with you from the first “which stallion?” all the way to the foal on the ground. Calculate inbreeding between any mare and stallion in seconds, so you can match with confidence instead of crossing your fingers. Track your mare’s heat cycles, log every covering, treatment, and ultrasound, and follow her through pregnancy with a calendar that walks you week by week. And when you’re weighing your options, Stig, Avla’s AI breeding advisor, is there to talk through matches and answer your breeding questions like a friend who knows their bloodlines.

No scattered notebooks, no guesswork. Just your whole breeding journey in one place, free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
